About the Artist
Bonnie Montgomery is a resident of Watkinsville, GA.
She holds a Masters Degree in Textile Arts
from the University of Georgia.
Her husband Walker is a well-known
commercial photographer in the Athens area.
He specializes in photographing artwork for artists.
In the spring Bonnie works on an on-going stone-work project.
"I have built walls to terrace the banks of the stream
that runs through our property. I have gradually added steps
and benches until I have a lovely grotto.
Next I am planning to build stone paths through the yard."
The Montgomerys are Georgians born and breed.
They are both contributing to the arts of
Northeast Georgia in their respective fields.
